The following are minimum system requirements to successfully install and run AmigoPOS 9:
  
Operating System

• Microsoft® Windows 11 32- and 64- Bit (64-Bit recommended)

• Microsoft® Windows 10 32- and 64- Bit (64-Bit recommended)

• *Microsoft® Windows 8.1 (32- and 64- Bit)

• *Microsoft® Windows 7 (32- and 64- Bit)

• *Microsoft® Windows PosReady 7 (32- and 64- Bit)

 

     *AmigoPOS 9 will run on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 but neither operating system is recommended because both are out of service and no longer receive Microsoft Updates.

 

Hardware (click here to view recommended hardware)

• 2 GB Ram (4GB Recommended)

• Intel i3 or equivalent

• Monitor capable of 1024x768px screen resolution or greater. 

• Replacing the HDD with an inexpensive SSD will dramatically improve performance

 

Network

• Users with more than one pos station or remote printers must ensure that the pos stations (and print servers, if applicable) are connected to a stable, reliable and secure network. Wired networks are strongly preferred for best performance and reliability.
